Don't test me.jpg

Melissa Tomlinson a public education advocate leader in BATS –the Badass Teachers Association and I discuss the problems with standardized testing and other important issues. After her interview, Melissa takes on The 5-Minute Game Show. It’s a tough one! Then on In the Trenches, Christi Gambill tells how Arete Preparatory Academy found a great alternative to traditional standardized testing.  Lastly, Teacher2Teacher prompted a follow up to “Be the Match” with practical ideas for teachers to help their fellow teachers take on new techniques or innovative approaches.

I’d like to give special thanks to my guests Melissa and Christi and to Teacher2Teacher and all of those great educators who contributed to the conversation. Also, I want to give a huge shout out of thanks to my voice actors in today’s fauxmercial Yossie Frankel and Sara and Yael Scheschter.
